基本情况

吴欢

       吴欢,男,中山大学大气科学学院教授、博士生导师,中山大学"百人计划"急需青年杰出人才,国家“青年千人计划”入选者。广东省气候变化和自然灾害研究重点实验室副主任。美华海洋大气科学协会理事,美国地球物理学会(AGU)全球环境变化(GEC)组委会委员。

       2007年,北京大学地球与空间科学学院获摄影测量与遥感博士学位。加入中山大学大气科学学院前,为美国宇航局(NASA-马里兰大学地球交叉科学研究中心Assistant Research ScientistPI。主要研究兴趣和研究贡献为陆面和水文过程模拟及参数化,水文气象灾害模拟、监测和预报,陆地水文及生态系统对气候变化的响应。自主研发的水文模型(DRIVE model)、河流温度模型(DRTT model)、水文网络自动上尺度化算法(DRT),及基于卫星降雨和数值模型的全球洪水实时监测与预报系统(GFMS)在国际上均有相当知名度。已发表学术论文30多篇,被引数百次。有多篇论文发表在水文水资源领域国际顶级期刊Water Resources ResearchWRR上,并获奖。多项第一作者科研工作被NASA Science, Science杂志、美国气象学会会刊BAMS、美国地球物理学会会刊EOS等报道。主持研发的GFMS (flood.umd.edu)为国际主流洪水监测预报系统,得到NASA总部、NOAA、联合国WFP, 国际红十字会、美国国防部,FEMA及众多国际同行好评。作为首席科学家(PI)和Co-PI成功主持和参与过多项NASANOAADOE科研项目。多次主持国际会议(如美国地球物理学会年会AGU、全球洪水国际工作组年会GFP、联合国UN-SPIDER减灾年会等),为数十个主流杂志及NASANSF科研计划项目评审专家。多次受邀学术报告,包括受联合国UN SPIDER、世界银行总部(华盛顿)邀请给1小时主题报告等。担任Advances in Meteorology客座主编。自2013年,选为美华海洋大气科学协会总部(华盛顿)理事。2014年选为美国地球物理学会(AGU)全球环境变化组委会委员、2015年选为NASA全球降雨计划科学委员会。2016年受邀进入NASA SERVIR计划项目评估专家组。

研究方向— 水文气象灾害过去、现在和未来

 

流域水文模型、水文气象灾害模型、陆面和水文过程参数(优)化、模型验证;水文气象灾害模拟、监测、预报;气候变化与水文气象(极端事件)响应,风险评估等。
