研究概述:
本课题组主要利用卫星观测数据和MHD数值模拟方法研究太阳爆发活动的物理机制。太阳爆发活动本质上是太阳日冕磁场突发性、剧烈的能量释放过程,因此,理解爆发机制必须充分认识临近爆发产生时日冕磁场的结构特性。目前,课题组主要利用卫星和地面设备的观测数据,收集充分的爆发事件样本;基于高精度日冕磁场外推技术和磁拓扑分析方法,对临近爆发的活动区磁场三维结构进行全面的统计研究;初步总结出了描述这些结构的强度或者不稳定性的关键参数,及其和各种爆发模型之间的关联。接下来,我们将利用数据驱动方法,分析太阳爆发前的磁场结构,进一步提升对不同机制在太阳爆发过程中具体作用的认识,为预测太阳爆发、最终实现空间天气的准确定量预报提供重要参考。
