Areas of Interest:
Terrestrial impact craters, impact metamorphic ejecta and extraterrestrial samples, analysis of Australasian microtektites and Chang’E-5 samples.
Research Overview:
I am a doctoral student majoring in space physics and interested in impact craters and extraterrestrial samples. My researches include analysis of Australasian microtektites in Chinese Loess Plateau and Chang’E-5 lunar samples. The former research helps determining the northernmost boundary of Chinese Loess Plateau, and exploring the location of the source crater according to its geographic distribution characteristic. The latter one focuses on conductive comparison on petrography of the impact ejecta (i.e., impact glasses) which formed in different atmospheric environments, so as to improve the understanding on the formation mechanism on impact cratering.
