Solar eruptions (including solar flares and Coronal Mass Ejections) and their impacts on the space environments of Earth and Mars

Research Overview:

Dr. Ye works on solar physics and space weather. His research topics have covered a wide range from the masses ejected from the solar corona to magnetic reconnection activities in the ionosphere of Mars, as well as the response of the Earth's space environment to solar activities. His current focus is on using machine learning to predict geomagnetic activities and ionospheric parameters.
