Dr. Weiqin Sun went to Southern University of Science and Technology in Shenzhen for an exchange visit

Since September 2019, Dr.Weiqin Sun, under the recommendation of his supervisor Professor  Jun Cui, has been visiting Associate Professor Jian Yang's research group in the Department of Earth and Space Sciences, Southern University of Science and Technology in Shenzhen for a long-term exchange visit. His main learning topic is Rice convection Model (RCM), and his main research direction is simulation of magnetosphere-ionosphere coupling system based on RCM. During the visit, Weiqin Sun learned and mastered the principle and use of the model, completed a number of research topics in cooperation with Professor Jian Yang, and published many articles in journals such as GRL and JGR. He said that Yang's guidance helped him establish a correct outlook on scientific research and life, which is a valuable asset in his research career.
