Prof. Dev Niyogi简介:
Dev Niyogi is a Professor and State Climatologist at Purdue University. Professor Niyogi’s research contributes to our understanding of the role of land atmosphere interactions on the improved prediction of weather and regional climate. Dr. Niyogi received the National Science Foundation CAREER award, and has been an Associate or Guest Editor for number of special issues related to land atmosphere interactions. Dr. Niyogi has coauthored over 150 papers for international journals, 15 book chapters, and over 150 conference proceedings. According to Google Scholar, his research has been cited over 5500 times (h-index 40; i10-index 100) including in the popular press like CNN and Yahoo news. He is also cochairs the American meteorological society's board on urban environment and is involved in projects related to developing smart cities and extreme weather resilient landscapes.
