Future Earth (FE) Global Secretariat Hub China is pleased to officially announce the new cohort of 17 FE Early-Career Fellows (ECFs) as the fellowship recipients in the 2025 Selection Round. These talented early-career scientists—from China, India, Switzerland, Germany and Spain—have been chosen for their outstanding contributions and promising potential in interdisciplinary research aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Supports Early-Career Researchers: At the time of application, six of the FE ECFs were in their final year of their doctoral studies, and 11 had completed their doctorates within the past five years. They are at an important early stage in their research careers—a golden opportunity for young scientists to pursue post-doctoral positions, engage with senior researchers, and explore innovative ideas and new research directions.
Builds Early-Career Colleague Networks: FE Global Secretariat Hub China will regularly organize both online and offline sharing sessions to support FE ECFs in expanding their research impact, enhancing their visibility, incorporating fresh perspectives into global SDGs research, and fostering long-term collaboration for global sustainable development.
